Sylvie Lola Pearl

Peacefully surrounded by her four children on September 24, 2019, it is with great sadness that our devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away. Dedicated mother and mother-in-law of Carol and Mark Klaiman, Robert and Mariama Pearl, Dr. Richard (Rick) and Jackie Pearl, Dr. Monica Pearl and Marc Spivak. Proud Bubby Lola to Ian (Michelle), Jordan (Amanda),Shannon (Oded), Jacob, Dylan, Matthew, Daniel, Adam, and Sean, great-grandmother of Bella, Olivia, Elliot, and Dalia. Sylvie is survived by her brother Martin Golden.

The burial will take place at Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park, 6033 Bathurst St., North York.

The Shiva will be held at 208 Richview Ave., Toronto, M5P 3G3.

Date of Funeral: Wednesday, September 25, 2019

Time of Funeral: 11:00 AM

Memorial Service Location: Steeles Memorial Chapel Service

Burial Service Location: Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park - Blue Star Lodge Section

Shiva Details: Family and friends are invited back to the Shiva residence immediately following the interment. Shiva visits Wednesday and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Frances Sturm

To Lola's Family; It has been almost 50 years that I met Lola. Carol & I met when we were teenagers in Montreal. We have remained the closest of friends, and shared in the births of her children & grandchildren. The last week came as such a shock to the family. Every time I would see Lola, she always asked how my family was. She was always so caring & thoughtful. Her family always gave her total devotion & love. I will miss seeing her both here in Toronto, & in Florida. My condolences go out to her entire family. It is a great loss, and my thoughts are with you. I know she will never be forgotten! To Lola’s family; I am so saddened to hear the news. I have known her for almost 50 years, when I met Carol when we were teenagers. I will miss her smiling face, and her constant concern about how my family was doing. She always cared, that was how Lola was.
