Shiva Details: 503 - 1 Cordoba Drive, Thornhill. Daily from 8am-12pm, 2-5pm, and 7-9pm. Morning services at 8am and Evening services at 7:30 pm.Concludes Tuesday morning, May 7th after prayers.

Theo was known for her positive outlook and infectious laugh to all who knew her. In troubled times the world needs as many people like Theo as possible. I have lost my sister-in-law and former baby sitter (when I was 9). My condolences to my brother Brian, who Theo praised for his devotion to her especially in the recent difficult years, her children, who gave her invaluable support and special mention to Theo's best friend, Sharon, who seemed to be always by Theo's side even though she lives in the States.

Brian i doubt you would remember me - i did go to Minsker Shul on Sheppard in my 20s and enjoyed your wife in the choir. I've since become Shomer Shabbat and live in Israel. My mom was Charlotte (Kaplan) Wesley - perhaps friends with your parents-in-laws. I was Marci Kaplan Dove at the time in the 70s. I still sing some of those choir tunes Ad Hayom Hazeh as we dont get those tunes in Israel. If you remember me feel free to drop a note at marci@bezeqint.net

Although I haven’t seen Theo for over 20 years, I feel compelled to write this to her family. Theo was a regular customer at my Visage store in the Promenade. When she walked into my store, she made my face light up and brightened my hectic day. She was always smiling and was one of the happiest people I’ve ever met. So sad to read she has passed away. She was one of the ‘good ones’. Cherish the memories and her smile.

Sorry I just found out about this yesterday. Theo and I were high school friends (Beverly Javasky). We lived a block apart. I had just moved into the neighborhood and some how we connected. She was always this very happy and outgoing person who cared about everyone. She was the the AZA sweetheart of the chapter that my husband Elliott belonged to and she introduced us. After high school we went our separate ways and lost touch. We only reconnected recently as Facebook friends and I could see her passion for Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael in her posts. I had hoped to see her on our next trip to Toronto, but Hashem had other plans. I know that during the shiva you were surrounded by many friends and family and that everyone spoke about her beautiful midot. May her memory be a blessing.
