It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tibor Feldheim, who died after a long struggle on the evening of Monday, July 21, 2025, at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. He was 93 years old.

Tibor is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Shelley Feldheim, and his devoted best friend, Maggie Gordon.

Born in Szeged, Hungary, Tibor survived the Holocaust alongside his mother, Sarah. He later immigrated to England and then to Israel, where he proudly served in the Israel Defense Forces. In 1968, he made Canada his home and established a business in Toronto.

In 1970, Tibor married Irma Rose Whitesman, and together they welcomed their daughter, Shelley, in 1972.

A longtime and dedicated member of Beth Tikvah Synagogue, Tibor will be remembered for his resilience, warmth, and love of Judaism and Israel.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Circle of Care and Mount Sinai Hospital for their compassionate care during the final months of Tibor’s life.
