Kovacs, Vera. Passed peacefully on October 14, 2022 at Gibson Long Term Care. Beloved wife of the late Tibor, loving mother of Peter and Maureen Stricker, and Shirley and the late Eliot Benson. Cherished Mama of Jonathan and Adrienne, Jeffrey and Lori, Danielle, Lianne and Joseph, and Jeffrey and Caroline, and Great Grandmother of Samuel, Austin, and Penelope. She will forever be in our hearts. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Ontario at 416-967-5900.

Following the interment, family and friends are invited to 113 Lyndhurst Drive, Thornhill. Shiva begins following the holiday of Simchat Torat daily from 1-5pm and 6:45-9pm. Evening services at 7:00 pm. Concludes Friday morning October 21st.

I remember when we were kids I would come to your house in Montreal and I always knew which house it was because you could hear the vacuum cleaner going.
