Victor Itkin, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, passed away on July 28, 2024, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. His departure has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Victor was a loving and devoted family man. His beloved wife of 60 years, Nina, was his lifelong partner and the love of his life. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, love, and cherished memories. Victor’s sons, Michael and Paul, were the pride and joy of his life, and he found great happiness in raising his two sons into the men they are today. His daughter-in-law, Sonia, and his grandchildren, Aiden and Kaia, brought him immense joy and laughter, and he cherished every moment spent with them.  He was very proud of his grandchildren and delighted in watching them grow.

Victor was an esteemed professor. He was a man of remarkable intellect and passion, dedicating his life to academia and leaving an indelible mark on the minds of countless students. His commitment to education and his unwavering pursuit of knowledge earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and students alike.

Victor was a man of many passions. He loved nature, and the outdoors and was physically active all through his life.  He was also known for his love of dance and music,and took pleasure in sharing his enthusiasm  with those around him. The joy he found on the dance floor with his wife was his favourite activity for many years.  He also loved tending to his garden and travelling the world.

His dedication to his work, his unwavering love for his family, his jovial nature and his zest for life were all testaments to his hardworking and resilient spirit. Victor’s presence in the lives of those who knew him will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness, wisdom, and love.

As we mourn the loss of Victor Itkin, we take solace in the knowledge that his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. His legacy of love, compassion, and intellectual curiosity will endure, and the impact he made on those around him will never be forgotten.

May he rest in peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be forever remembered.
