My condolences to you and your family.

My sincere condolences to the entire Gabay family n the passing of Vidal.

Tita Raymonde, Bella, Joanne, Isaac and all extended family, there are no words at this time that can ease the pain and sadness of this enormous loss. I was not able to get a flight out in time to be there at the funeral but my heart is with you all. I will forever remember sweet Uncle Vidal in his happiest of moments, joking and smiling that glorious smile, saying Kiddush at the head of the dinner table which echoed in pride. I will always remember him driving me to Hebrew school early in the morning to be able to start his day at the respective Jewish schools he maintained. I remember how adored he was by everyone who knew him as "Mr. Gabay." I remember how happy he was when he got his Harley and how he stood in his garage smiling at how glorious it was. I remember Uncle Vidal holding my first born daughter at her baby naming and calling her a princess. I will most recently remember his kindness in visiting my mom at the hospital and the little conversations we had about how he loved sitting out in the sun and that is why his legs were so tanned. It is those little things in life that connect us to the memories that live on as legacy. His life touched hundreds of others. May his memory be a blessing to you always. Our hearts are all broken. This is such a sad and enormous loss! Vidal z"l was a good man who had a kind and pleasant disposition towards everyone. His family meant everything to him! He will be sorely missed! Mrs Gabay and family, So sorry to hear about Mr Gabay ah. BDE . MaY Hashem heal all your family and your pain among all the other mourners of Isreal.

Although it is 30 years since I left elementary school, I have not forgotten who Mr. Gabay was. Because Mr. Gabay was different and special. He was the superintendent of Bais Yaakov Elementary School when I was a student in the 80's and 90's back on Stormont. He was always there to greet us in the morning with a big smile. His small stature was overtaken by his larger than life personality. He was friendly and made us little kids feel welcomed to the school he kept sparkling every day. May the good memories of him live in your hearts forever. To the family: Min HaShamayim Tenuchamu.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of our good friend Vidal,we have very good memories of him,such a lovely and kind person,he will be missed and rememberded always,we want to join the family in these difficult times. Jack and Sara Delmar.

Dear Raymonde, Bella, Joanne and Isaac We are deeply saddened by the news of Vidal's passing. As a good friend and neighbor for many years, we have such wonderful memories. He had a generous spirit and was a good soul. He was very close to my late father, David Serfaty. I remember the special Succah he made for our family, which we used for many years. Vidal, you will be truly missed in our hearts.
