Kohn, Viola (Iby), passed away peacefully on Monday February 22, 2021 at 1:18pm at home surrounded by her loving family.

Viola, beloved wife of the late John Kohn. Loving, devoted mother and mother-in-law of Ron, Nella and Debbie Kohn. Cherished & beautiful grandmother of David and Daniel.

She was a Holocaust Survivor. Memorial donations may be made to the Association for the soldiers of Israel 416-783-3053 or to the Canadian Cancer Society 1-888-939-3333.

Date of Funeral: Wednesday, February 24, 2021

Ron, Nella and Debbie and family, I was so saddened by the news of Ibby's passing. She was a warm and generous person with a heart of gold. Her presence will be missed, but her memory will always be a blessing to you all. She love you all so much.

Dear Kohn family, Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Viola. For those of us who got the chance to meet and know her, we are forever grateful and changed for the better. She was such a beautiful, smart, strong and loving person, inside and out. Every time we got the chance to speak with her or be with her, she brought so much joy and made us feel welcomed, supported and loved every time. For this, we are forever grateful. The one thing that I will always remember her for was her infinite and endless love she showed for those she cared for. Her family meant the world to her and you could see it in her eyes and feel it every time you were around her. I hope that when I have a family someday, I am able to be even half as loving as she was to hers. We are all better for having known her. For those of us who didn't get the chance to meet her, we will always remember the beautiful stories we were told about her and are grateful for her family she helped shape into amazing people. She will be missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace now with Zaidy. We love you Viola. Till we meet again, - The Miles Family.
