Less than a week ago, she logged onto a village shul board call from the hospital. That kind of self sacrifice and never ending committment to the Jewish people is a rare trait, but one which Wendy had in spades. Wendy was a remarkable woman. We grew up together and we’re good friends but as we aged we went our own ways. Every time I saw Wendy our hugs felt like we were back to our childhood. I saw Wendy during my times with my daughter during her cancer life and Wendy was always a breath of sunshine. When she remarried I never saw her as happy. I am so sadden by her passing. To the entire Zinner family, I was shocked and very sad to learn of the passing of Wendy. We spent some time together several years ago and I was fond of her. She always had a strong opinion of things that mattered to her and I liked her for that and all of her many other great qualities. I also know that she was a wonderful wife to you , Bob and an adoring mother to Jordy and Josh. She was deeply loved by all of you and I know that you are in pain right now. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Wendy from when I was a little girl. It was always such a thrill when I got to go to her store and have her pick out clothes for me. It was so nice to bump into her again when I taught Jordanna in SK and then again at a Fisch Rothbart simcha. She was a special lady.

Dear Bob, Sherri Lynne, Adam, Marlee, Lucus, Jordy, Josh. It is with great sorrow that Uncle Harvey and Auntie Shirley Anne mourn the loss of our special niece Wendy. She was truly an Ayshes Chayil, her heart filled with goodness and always doing Mitzvot to help others. And that wonderful smile and sense of humour making everyone feel special. We loved our Wendy so very much. She was like another daughter to us. Uncle Harvey used to call her his Bugs Bunny when she was little, he loved her so much. We will miss her greatly and mourn her passing with the family. May her memory be for a blessing. We will remember her always with love. A beautiful person inside and out.

Dear Bob and Family, We were saddened to learn of Wendy's passing from our sister (in law) Lorraine Blass. We met Wendy at the shiva of our father (in law) Saul Hirsh and we were immediately impressed with her kindness and and generosity. She literally took charge and was instrumental in organizing the kitchen and often brought us the most delicious food that she had so lovingly prepared. Wendy was one of the most genuine and unselfish people we have ever met and her presence during a most difficult time was indeed a comfort. We are so sorry for your loss and hope that the many wonderful memories you have of this truly extraordinary woman will comfort you in the days ahead.

It is with profound sadness that we learned of Wendy's passing. She was beloved throughout the community and her kindness positively impacted so many. She was like a daughter to my in-law's Harold and Yetta Nashman throughout her camper and staff years at Camp Wahanowin and well beyond. She was always there for the Nashman children. Camp Wahanowin is a big supporter of Kids of Courage and it is not surprising that Wendy supported this very meaningful cause among many others as well. An incredible, determined, focused, friendly, orderly, go to woman who was private, always supporting her family and others while in the background dealing with her own things. A role model to the community who just continued to give, lead by example and did not give up. She was the woman who people would go to to get things done even though she herself had a full plate. So organized whether it was event planning or within her own home. A loving wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend to all she encountered. Wendy you will be sorely missed.
