SILVERBERG, Wilfred. In his 92nd year, passed away peacefully, on August 1, 2020. Our hero was the patriarch of his loving family. Extremely devoted son of (late) Sarah Silverberg. Loving husband to Ruth for sixty-six years (Together for over 70 Years), father of Steven and Robin, Paul and Karen and Larry. Grandfather of Nicole and Jeremy, Zack and Mandy, Lindsay Anne, Sarah and Omri, and Neil, great-grandfather to Max (Nicole and Jeremy), brother-in-law to Adele and the late Arnold Fogle, cousin and friend to many.
Our father lived a remarkable life. He was grateful for every moment. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren: taking them on many adventures; participating in our lives.
He was successful, passionate and very fulfilled in business.
Willy was a very social person. He had many friends over his 92 years and enjoyed organizing and attending many events and dinners. He spent twenty-five happy winters in Florida: golfing and socializing. He travelled the world (and many trips to Israel) and embraced each trip with excitement and enthusiasm. He was an active and founding member of the Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda Synagogue.
He loved music, theatre, movies, social activities, hockey, travel, conversation, family and friends (and more), and was a devoted best friend to his dog, Snoopy.
Our Willy Silverberg is a blessing to be celebrated. He is an example of a life well lived.
