With great sadness, we announce that William (Bill) Lifchus passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2022. He was the devoted husband of Blema Steinman, loving father of Bonnie Doering and Robert Lifchus of Winnipeg, brother to Vena of San Francisco and cherished Zaida to Kelsey and Kyle Doering. Billy was a pharmacist, a sports lover, friendly and generous to a fault. He will be loved and sorely missed. He had a special place in his heart for Israel. Private Shiva will be observed. I was very saddened by the death of my brother in law Bill. He was a kind, and generous man always wanting to help people. He loved Yiddish and Klezmer music and loved to dance, especially when he and Blema went to Mel Lastman Square. We were good friends and often spoke about Israel when we got together. My condolences go out to my sister Blema and his children Bonnie and Robbie and his grandchildren Kelsey and Kyle. He loved his family deeply. I will miss him.

I have known him for the past 32 years as an active intelligent businessman younger than his years who was always ready with a smile and a joke.
