Shiva Details: Shacharis will be held Tuesday to Friday at 7:15 a.m. and on Sunday at 8:15 a.m. Mincha/Maariv will be held Monday to Thursday at 5:15 p.m. Shiva visitors are welcome Tuesday to Thursday following Shacharis until 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Friday following Shacharis until 12:00 p.m., and on Saturday night from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Shiva concludes Sunday morning following Shacharis.

I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing your father, but I’m sure he was a special person because he raised an amazing human being.

Your parents and mine were close friends for decades, and I remember visiting their home on York Downs many times, especially when I stayed over for Rosh Hashanah Yom Kippur so I could go to shul in the area. To the Warner Family: I am so saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Sam. As a young lawyer I met Sam over 30 years ago and over the years I tried to see him as often as I could. I called him weekly and I would pop by the house whenever I was in the area. In fact on January 17th I made it my mission to go by the house because I hadn't seen him in a long time and we had a fantastic chat he was still sharp as ever and, of course, he sold me a suit! He was an inspiration to me and always gave great advice. We sat often times for hours chatting about various things one of his favorites is obviously politics and we enjoyed very cerebral conversations. When I got the message from Jonathan this morning I couldn't open it for a few hours, because I knew what it was going to say. With tears in my eyes I say thank you Sam for everything God bless you and your family. GARY BATASAR

I met Sam when I met my late wife over 60 years ago. Sam and his brothers and sister were all above normal intelligence and a honour and privilege to know. Sam's sense of humour was contageous on almost any subject. I can't even count how many suits and other apparel I got from Sam. He had a long good life and will be missed by so many.
