It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather on Monday, May 19, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Yakov was a dedicated husband to Tatiana for 54 years, their remarkable journey together beginning in childhood when they met at the tender ages of 7 and 9. Their marriage is a testament to a lifetime of shared memories, unwavering support, and deep companionship.
A cherished father, he is survived by his loving daughter Alexandra (Michael) and is reunited in peace with his son, Paul, of blessed memory. He was a proud and adoring grandfather to Zachary and Samuel, whose lives he touched with humour, wisdom, and love.
Yakov’s legacy is one of immense strength and resilience. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
