Yefim “Fima” Golts passed away on December 10th after a long and courageous battle with numerous medical conditions. He will be sorely missed by his wife of 51 years, Sveta.
Fima was the proud father of Marina and Leslie, father in-law of Robert and Tim, and was blessed with four grandchildren, Rochelle, Jacqueline, Levana & Felix. He is the beloved brother of Arkadi, Brother-in-law to Greg, Margaret and Sveta and uncle to Irit, Roman, Mike, Diana and their spouses. Son of Fanya and Lazer Golts (deceased).
Although gone too soon, Fima had a wonderful family that he was proud of and a successful career. He was known in the Jewish community as someone who was always willing to help others. He and Sveta were responsible for sponsoring our grandparents, uncles and aunts to come to Canada from Israel and Russia. From a family of 3 when we arrived in Canada in 1980, we became a family of 20+ people. Fima was a hard worker and strived to provide  the best life for his family. He was a wonderful role model and instilled strong family values & work ethic in his children. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to those who knew him best. His legacy is best represented by the family he built, and his great sense of humour and character will be proudly carried on.
The family will be observing Shiva at  2 Mary Gapper Crescent- Unit 10, Richmond Hill, L4C 0J4.
