It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gilbert “Gil” Evenstein on September 27, 2026, at Sunnybrook Hospital. Beloved husband of Esperanza Evenstein. Dear brother of Tema Wasserman and Sybil Evenstein. Gil will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A humble and caring man, Gil will be remembered for his kind heart and gentle nature. May his memory be a blessing.
