It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Yosi (Jonathan) Derman, a devoted husband, cherished father, loving grandfather and great-grandfather, and beloved member of his family and community. Yosi was the beloved husband of Jill Derman. He was the proud and devoted father of Tziona and Shalom Rand, Yaron and Bracha Derman and Avital and Hillel Ehrlich. He was a loving and doting grandfather to Meirav and Kfir Liberman, Hadar Rand, Oriyah Rand, and Shachar Rand, Dovid and Leeba Derman, Basya and Meir Spiegel, Devori and Chaim Klein, Esty Derman, Adina Derman, Nechama Leeba Derman, Shoshana Derman, Avraham Yeshaya Derman, Gavriel Ehrich, Ariel Ehrich, Yocheved Ehrich, Chananya Ehrich and Elisheva Ehrich, who brought him immense joy and pride. He treasured his great-granddaughter Zehava Spiegel. Yosi will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his love of knowledge and truth, and the values he instilled in those who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
