It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Leah Melamed, on October 23, 2026, at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of Morris, her devoted and loving husband of 67 years. Cherished mother of Elliot (Elaine), Wendy (Yigal), and Warren (Linda). Loving and adored grandmother of Debra, Erica, Sam, Amanda, Jennifer, Ilana, Adam, Jacob, and Michael. Proud great-grandmother of Ethan and Kira, Gideon and Sabrina, and Hila and Omri.

Beloved daughter of the late Israel and Ida Rabinovitch. Dear sister of Hyman (Susan) Rabinovitch, and sister-in-law of Solly and the late Cynthia Melamed, and Mona and Lenny Wolman. Beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews.

May Leah’s memory forever be a blessing to her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
