It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Marilyn, on September 20, 2026, just a week past her 91st birthday.

Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Benjamin, who was the true love of her life. She is survived by and will always be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lara, siblings Marvin & Norma, Sharon, and Alan & Deborah, as well as nieces and nephews Moya & Debbie, Michael & Tun, Ezra, David, Leslie and Rebecca. Her great nieces and nephews, Samantha & David (and baby Chase), Ethan, Benjamin, Madeline, Brooklyn, Jacob, Samantha, Hannah, and Annabelle will always cherish their memories of her, as will her many friends at Baycrest, where she spent the last years of her life.

Born and raised in Toronto, Marilyn spent many years in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where she and her husband Ben operated a mango export business.

Marilyn had a true joie de vivre and an infectious smile that would light up the room. Many thanks to her many caregivers at Baycrest Apotex Centre, and her friends who brought much laughter to her life.
