Miriam leaves behind her loving children, Ricki (Danny), Esther (Omer), and Guy, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Rayann (Travis), Corey, and Daniel.

Celebrating the Life of Miriam Esanu (née Cohen) born on November 15, 1938, in Egypt. Miriam and her family fled to Israel, where they built a new life filled with resilience, hope, and memories she loved to share. She proudly served in the IDF, caring for young soldiers, an experience that inspired her to become a nurse.

During one of her stays at our home, I woke to a piercing whistle and was amazed to find my 85- year-old mother effortlessly whistling with two fingers, a skill she learned long ago in the military. It’s a memory that will always stick with me and remind me of her strength and spirit.
