With very heavy hearts, we announce that our dearly loved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ofira Green, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Henry Green (z”l), adored daughter of Sam (z”l) and Zipora (z”l), and loving mother of Betty and Jeff, Brian and Rina, and Risa and Joe.

She was the much-loved and proud Bubi of Jennifer & Geoffrey, Noah, Marli & Daniel, Justyn & Taylor, Taryn & Brandon, Brandon & Danielle, Chloe, Cassidy, Jordan & Eden, Robyn & Justin, and Carly & Alon.

Her great loves were her 15 great-grandchildren: Sammy, Zoey, Shayna, Austin, Quinn, Zachary, Chase, Molly, Jack, Ethan, Maddie, Myles, Mason, Sydney and Henry, all of whom brought her immense joy. She also leaves behind her loving sister, Nurit, and sister-in-law, Lola.

Predeceased by Izhak (z”l), Pola (z”l) & Jack (z”l), Adele (z”l) & John (z”l), Dave (z”l) & Lee (z”l), and Jerry (z”l).

She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. We will cherish her memory and celebrate her remarkable life—a life that was well lived.
