It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel (Jack) Shapiro on November 6, 2026 at the age of 90.

Loving father of Rowan and Bev, Kevin, and Hilton and Leanne. Cherished grandfather of Josh and Tina, Carly, Brett, Jonah, Benjamin, Jordan, and Brooklyn. Brother of the late Evelyn Wietzer (z”l).

Although their marriage eventually ended, Irma and Jack remained close throughout their lives, sharing a deep and enduring commitment to their children and the family they built together.

Jack will be remembered for his love of family, enduring friendships, his resilience and loyalty. May his memory be a blessing to the many people who loved him.
