Tony, a”h, was a gifted professional musician. Since I also did music, he explained to me why, when he was successfully playing, he decided not to pursue it. He said that one night after an evening of playing music, he came home to find that his wife, Rose, had fallen asleep on the couch waiting for him to come home. Then and there, he decided the musician’s life was not for him. Family came first.
