Victor Geller

December 2, 1933 – February 21, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving Dad and Grandpa, Victor Geller. Victor lived his life for his family. Devoted father and father-in-law of Susan and Debbie, Wendy and Stuart, Shari and Camilla. Adored Grandpa of Jessica, Zachary, and Samantha. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Geller. Cherished brother of the late Carolyn Feldstein. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He had a twinkle in his eye, loved to kibbitz and was a pleasure to talk to whenever we had the chance to catch up. He was involved in every aspect of your lives and it was evident that you all were his whole world. My association with the Geller family dates back to the good ol’ Stonedene Blvd days where your home was my home too. I grew up in your house. Victor and Ruth Geller were my second parents and I will cherish the memories of time spent together for so many amazing years. My dear Wendy, Shari, Susan, and entire family, I am so sorry for the difficult loss of such a wonderful man. I have known V for over 50 years. I have such fond memories of him and dear Ruth. I was at the Stonedene household so often that I felt part of the family from a very young age. Simply the nicest father of a best friend I could ever ask for. He raised the most incredible daughters and it was always evident that his primary role in life was their well-being. He will be greatly missed, and no doubt he is in a better place. Condolences to our cousins in your loss. The last time we saw Victor was at VIVA when we went to see a seniors' entertainment, which when not in the covid period is open to community members. He always had a smile on his face and was happy to have conversations about family members. MURRAY RICH

Vic & I first met when we both sold programs at Maple Leaf Stadium in 1947-48. He wasn't a big baseball fan but we had many discussions about more important matters. Every few years when we ran into each other, he was still the friendly guy & we would both brag about our daughters and our grandkids. He was a real mench . May his memory be for a blessing.

This was a beautifully touching service and tribute to a very special man. I cried and I laughed when I realized there was a common thread running through all of the tributes. I felt your deep sadness but witnessed a very close and loving family who all share a sense of humour. I am so proud of Jessica, Zach and Samantha for speaking about their Gramps. I remember how kind he was to my boys and how often he would join in on the Halloween fun and the May 24th fireworks. I always had a soft spot for your Dad Wendy. Much love to you all. Victor was my first cousin on my parents side ,Ruth and Joseph Godfrey.We visited Victor and Carolyn often .Aunt Mollie was my father’s sister.
