Renee Spiegel

Renee Spiegel, a passionate and strong woman in every area of her life, passed away on July 31, 2024, at Baycrest hospital in Toronto. Born Renee Attias on May 1, 1948, in Casablanca, Morocco, she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.

For 46 years, Renee was the beloved and devoted wife of Harry. Loving mother to Jody and Sabina, and cherished mother-in-law to Mikey Fegelman. Caring Meme to Jack, Lily, and Jude, whom she adored deeply.

Renee’s family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart and soul into every act of service for them. Her love was unwavering and her strength unmatched.

Renee is also survived by her dear brother Joseph and sister in law Florence in France,with whom she shared a deep sibling bond. She also loved her nephews and nieces Phillip, Igal, Ingrid, Yadin and Karen.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her. Renee’s spirit, marked by fierce passion and strength will be remembered and cherished forever. Baruch Dayan Haemet.
