Adored wife of the late Moe Ship and Martin Kasinitz. Beloved mother of the late Susan Judith Ship and loving mother and mother-in-law of Carol Ship Spencer and Peter Thomas Spencer.
Devoted grandmother / Bobe of Flora Spencer and husband Jose Salazar. Dear sister to the late Evelyn Rabkin. Cherished sister-in-law and aunt.
Born in Montreal to Benny Usden and Becky Cohen, Lillian enjoyed her career as an Administrator for the Allied Jewish Community Services in Montreal and later for the Bathurst Jewish Community Centre in Toronto.
An avid conversationalist and life-long learner, Lillian’s interests included politics and current events, books and music, knitting and travel. She had a passion for social justice and her family. She is forever in our hearts.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 7th at 11 am at the Pardes Chaim Cemetery, Maple, Ontario. Shiva private. Donations can be made to the United Jewish Appeal 416-631-5685
