Florence Beube
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Florence Beube, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Florence was born on June 22, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario, and passed peacefully in her home among loved ones on November 20, 2023 in Holland Landing, Ontario.
Florence was a loving and committed wife to her husband Louis Beube (z”l) for over 60 years. She was a cherished sister to Joan Kurtzbard, Mike Kurtzbard (z”l), and Jeanette Kurtzbard (z”l). Florence was a kind and loving mother to her children, Susan Allentoff, Mitchell Barak, Garry Beube (Phyllis), and Sherrie Beube (z”l). She was a warm and involved grandmother to Ryan Beube (Whitney), Beth Allentoff, Michael Allentoff (Karen), Alex Barak (Shelby), Ben Barak (Cora), Sarah Beube, Rebecca Barak-Elliot (Dean), and Daniel Barak, as well as a great-grandmother to 8 beautiful great-grandchildren.
Florence was a talented artist and an effervescent spirit, kind to all that were fortunate enough to know her. She cared deeply for her family and friends and will be sorely missed.
Funeral services will be held graveside at Pardes Shalom Cemetery, 10953 Dufferin St, Vaughan, Ontario, Wednesday, November 22 at 2 P.M. Shiva will be held at Susan Allentoff’s house at 707 Grace St., Newmarket, Ontario.
