GITLIN, Leo – It is with great sorrow that we announce that Leo passed away on Saturday, July 23 at Baycrest Health Sciences. Beloved husband of Esther. Loving father to Milana and Maya (Serge). Cherished grandfather of Evelyn and Jonathan, Justine and Seth. As a young man, he was a four-time lightweight boxing champion in his native Latvia. Leo had a long career as a tool and die maker and operated his own business for over 25 years. He was a true gentleman with a great sense of humour. Always an optimist, his favourite saying was “that everything will be alright!”. He will forever be in our memories and he will be greatly missed. Private Shiva.
