In the early hours of October 22^nd, 2021, David Rubin, beloved son, brother, husband, father and Zaida, suddenly and tragically passed away. He was a true family man, and is survived by his wife – Shirley, daughter – Alissa, sons – Bryan and Cory, grandchildren – Scarlett, Auston, Matthew, Zane and Gavin, son in law – Mark, daughter in laws – Jennifer and Hayley, and furchild – Roxy.

The patriarch of the Rubin family, David had a heart of gold and lived to help and support others. A pillar in his community, coach to many, and industry pioneer, his advocacy and influence will have an everlasting impact. David never missed a beat to talk about how proud he was of his children and grandchildren, and always managed to crack a joke and make those around him laugh. His bright smile will sorely be missed.

David was a man that would give you the shirt off his back, loved being outdoors on the lake, and enjoyed blasting his favourite classic rock songs. He was able to make a connection with anyone he came across and treated everyone as an equal.

Calm, cool, and collected, his spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
