It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Sidney Salomon Assor on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Devoted brother, nephew and uncle Sidney, nephew to his Aunt and Uncles and their families: Marcelle, Joseph (his childhood friend), Maurice Elbaz;
His Siblings, uncle, in-law and their families: Marguerite (Mayer), Eric (Lisa), Alain (Sonia), Nicole (Attias);
The late Maurice Assor survived by his wife Lydia and daughter Sally Assor;
Esther, Natalie, Jane Ferguson;
The late Irene Assor Tucker survived by her 3 children (née Tucker);
Alice (Kevin), Tralore, Rachel (Alex), Léah (Tessa) Assor-Chandler.
Sidney will be deeply missed by his family, His life-long friends: Mésode, Esther, Sylvia Hamu; Roy, Paul, Steven Gudnason, Randy Kalgus; The Canadian Helen Keller Centre Team: Intervenors and staff Lee S, Marta Z, Jenny H. Sabrina C; The staff at the Baycrest Jewish Home for the Aged; the staff at the North York Senior Centre
He is remembered for his passion to be amongst his family, telling jokes and holding court
