Sally Rose Friedman

FRIEDMAN, Sally – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sally Friedman at the age of 91, on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Baycrest Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. Sally Friedman, beloved wife of the late Earl Friedman. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Sharleen Friedman, and Cindy and the late Morris Hackman. Loving Bubbie of Havah, Gabriel and Daniella, Miriam, and Benjamin, and Great-Bubbie of Adam, Max, Matthew, and Noa. A special thank you to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at Baycrest Hospital, for their loving hands and gentle support. An additional thank you to our caregiver Gemma, who for five years was devoted to our Mom, and our whole family. Sally was a unique woman, committed to caring for all those around her, first her mother and then her loving husband of 56 years. Sally and Earl had a true love for each other, he was blind and she shared the beauty of the world for him to see. She was strong, feisty, modern and whatever she had, she shared with grace. She was our best friend and we will be forever in her debt, for teaching us humility, passion, compassion, integrity and how to love.
