Anne Tenenbaum (z”l)

Peacefully on October 9, 2018 in her at the age of 101. Beloved wife of Morris (z”l) for 63 years, loving mother and mother-in-law of Helen and David, Rhoda, Howard and, Karen. She is survived by her much-loved sister, Marilyn (Mimi). Cherished Grandmother of Kevin and Dana, Erin, Dana and Hashy, Ken and Anna, Wesley and Gretchen, Alan and Robyn, and Shira and Yves. And treasured great-grandmother of Jaimie, Tyler, Jordan, Josh, Yishai, Eden, Nicole, Maddie, Eliam, Ari, Jonathan, Ben, Ryan, and Clark.
After graduating from Central Commerce High School, with a 1st place Gold Medal, she could have gone to university, but instead went to work to help support her family so that her brothers could obtain an education. Yet she was a true academic who read voraciously; always with a dictionary at her side in case a new word popped up. She was also a great cook and bake who supplied the family with many wonderful meals at numerous celebrations.
She loved us all, and was always there to take care of her family and was proud of all of her children, her children’s spouses, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lived a full life, and we know that we will always have the happiest of memories of a life well-lived.
