Esther Malka Barzilay
BARZILAY, Esther – Esther Malka Barzilay passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 8th. Esther was the cherished wife and best friend of Amos Barzilay who predeceased her. She was the treasured mother and mother-in-law of Anat, Ronit, Karen, and Lahav, Joshua and Jesse. Adored by her grandchildren, she was nana to Sydney, Ava, Adam, Elijah, Shira, Talia, Dani and Isabel. Esther had a big spirit and was the embodiment of courage, passion and grit. She never minced words and her tough love always led with the tough, but lingered with love. Her legacy and spirit will live on in each of her children and grandchildren. At Steeles Memorial Chapel (350 Steeles Ave., W.), for service on Thursday, November 10th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Pardes Shalom Cemetery, Iraqi Jewish Association section.
