Marsha Bielak
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marsha Bielak, at the age of 83. Marsha passed away at home, peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, August 14, 2023. A strong and determined woman, Marsha braved many health issues right up until her final fight with pancreatic cancer.
Daughter of the late Rikel and Tzvi Aryeh Bergstein Z”L. Loving wife of the late Leslie Bielak Z”L, cherished mother and mother in-law to Malka (Marilyn) and Joel Gold, Robert and Gloria Bielak, Sylvia Bielak, Anita Bielak-Dadouch, Faye and Marvin White. Incredibly devoted Bubbie to Leslie and Sarah, Natalie, Rachel and Nati, Jackie Shayna and Aaron, Leslie and Shayla, Aaron and Katie, Rachel and Blake, Leslie, Melissa, Zachary and Nicole, Jeremy, and Jordan. The best Great Bubbie to Madison, Max, Coby, Ari, Jayden, Emma, Kenny, Brody, Rebecca, Nessa, and Jack.
Sister of the late Jack and Evelyn Bergstein Z”L, Chaskel and Zipora Bergstein Z”L, Shulem and Perla Bergstein Z”L, Sonia and Rabbi Zalman Weinberg Z”L, Hinda and Stephen Korn Z”L.
Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest love and source of pride – nothing gave her more pleasure than celebrating their many achievements and milestones. Lovingly remembered by her friends of more than 70 years, whom she loved and who loved her so much. As the matriarch of our family, her wisdom, love and guidance will be deeply missed, but our memory of her and her spirit will live on forever.
We would like to extend our immense gratitude to the doctors, nurses and caregivers who gave around the clock care and attention to Marsha and our family over the past two years – we are particularly grateful to the professionals at Princess Margaret Hospital for their effort and support. A very special thank you to Dr. Anthony Ralph-Edwards who was always by her side.
