Janet Ironstone
After a courageous battle with cancer, Janet Ironstone (nee Zaitlin) passed away peacefully on November 27th, surrounded by her family.
She was loved dearly by her devoted husband Norman, children Rochelle (Robert) and Joel (Rachel). Cherished Nana to Hallie, Maya, Teddy, and Augie. Beloved younger sister to Brenda Korn (Morton). Predeceased by her brother Bernie Zaitlin (Rhoda), parents Pearl and Jack. Janet will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue on Tuesday, November 29 at 1pm. Interment to follow at the Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street, Ottawa.

Friends and family are welcome to return to the Shiva house at 159 Solera Circle immediately following the interment. Shiva will continue in Ottawa on Wednesday, November 30th at 159 Solera Circle from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. The Shiva period will continue in Toronto at 21 Park Hill Road on Friday, December 2nd from 2pm to 4pm and on Sunday, December 4th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
