ALAN ZELUNKA on the afternoon of June 5, 2024 passed peacefully, surrounded by his family. Son of the late Louis and Betty Zelunka z”l and son-in-law of the late Mickey and Eve Alter z”l. Alan was a devoted husband to Michelle for 56 years; loving father and father-in-law to Cheryl and Andrew Stein, Elyse and Craig Rimer, Mark and Rachel and Jennifer and Howard Blitstein. Dear brother and brother in law to Myrna and Marvin Nussbaum, Shelly and Dominique and David and Elyse, Sheila and the late Harve Miller z”l, Brenda and Jerry Sand, and the late Jeffrey Alter z”l. Loving Zaidie to Samantha, Jack, Abbey, Ella, Sarah, Evan, Daniel, Sophie, Chaim Dov, Tehila, Naftali, Noah, Josh and Lily. Alan’s dedication to Jewish values and traditions were at the centre of his life and gracefully guided him as a father, grandfather, businessman and friend.
