Passed away peacefully on November 27, 2018 at the age of 78 after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. High School sweetheart and cherished husband of 56 years to Marge Feder. Devoted father and father in law to Harold and Nancy, Elliot and Karen. Loving Saba to Talia, Lauren and Natalie, and affectionately remembered by Emma and Carter. Brother in law to Michel and Sirima, and uncle to Melinda, Gary and Peyton. Norm will also be sadly missed by his aunt, many cousins and friends. He never let his illness slow him down and lived life to the fullest, enjoying the cottage and travelling. He left his mark on all those he met with his zest for life, and friendly and generous nature. Norm was a dedicated volunteer and patient champion with the Kidney Foundation. We would like to thank the dialysis units and palliative care at St.Michael’s hospital and the staff at Chartwell Gibson retirement home for their compassion and care.

Funeral to take place at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave. West, Thornhill, on Friday, November 30, 10:30am with Shiva following internment in the party room at 55 Skymark Drive, North York. Shiva continues Sunday, December 2, 1-4pm and 7-9pm and Monday, December 3 to Wednesday, December 5, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at 55 Skymark Drive Suite 106. Donations in his memory can be made to St.Michael’s hospital or to a charitable organization of your choice.
