In Loving Memory of Bernard Leon Borenstein (Ben Yeoman Ben Yousef)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bernard Leon Borenstein, affectionately known as Bernie, who passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on December 13th, 2024, in his home.

Bernard is survived by his loving daughter Merissa and her husband Larry, his devoted son Steven and his wife Michelle, and his cherished grandchildren Levi, Nathan, Holden, and Addison. He also leaves behind his beloved sister Anny and her husband Patrick, his brother Albert and sister-in-law Anne, and his many treasured nieces, nephews, and their children, all of whom he held close to his heart. He was predeceased by his parents, Lily and Joseph Borenstein, whom he loved deeply and whose values he carried forward in his life.

Bernard was an extraordinary man whose life was marked by unshakable kindness, unwavering wisdom, and an open heart. He was a positive force in the lives of everyone who knew him, offering compassion and encouragement to all. Bernard’s greatest strength was his belief in people—he always gave others the benefit of the doubt and never spoke ill of anyone, preferring instead to uplift those around him.

May Bernard Leon Borenstein’s memory be a blessing, and may his soul rest in eternal peace. His light and love will remain in our hearts forever.
