In addition to the in-person service at the Steeles Memorial Chapel , the funeral will also be live-streamed. To view the service virtually, please go to https://smclive.ca/ on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 12:30 p.m.

Henry Epstein, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on June 20, 2025, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Born on June 27, 1953, in Tel Aviv, Israel, Henry’s life was a testament to love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.

Henry’s memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Debbie, his adoring daughters, Mara and Amy, his devoted sister, Adina, his caring brother, Arie, and his precious grandchildren, Ben and Ethan. He was a pillar of strength and a source of endless love and support for his family, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Henry dedicated nearly 20 years of his life to the metal fabricating industry, where his hard work and passion left an indelible mark on all those he encountered. His commitment to excellence and his unwavering work ethic were evident in everything he did, and his colleagues and friends will remember him as a true professional and a loyal friend.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Henry had a deep love for sports, particularly hockey, basketball, and baseball. He found joy in following his favorite teams and engaging in friendly bets with friends and family, always bringing a sense of excitement and camaraderie to every game. His enthusiasm for sports was infectious, and his presence at sporting events will be sorely missed by those who shared in his passion.

Henry and Debbie enjoyed exploring the world together through travel (mainly via cruises), creating countless cherished memories with loved ones and also making new lifelong friends along the way.

In his final days, Henry was surrounded by the unwavering love and support of his family and caregivers, Virgie and Monette, who provided comfort and compassion during a difficult time. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Palliative Care team at North York General Hospital and the doctors at Princess Margaret Hospital for their exceptional care and support.

Henry’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
