It is with deep sadness that the family of Harvey Alan Starkman announces his passing on August 19, 2025, at Sage Care in North York, Ontario, at the age of 85.

Harvey was born on February 10, 1940, in Toronto, Ontario, where he resided all his life. He was the beloved son of the late Lillian and Manning Starkman, a devoted father to Marshall Starkman, and a cherished brother to Gaille Lieberthal. He was a loving uncle to Morgan, Lisanne, and Jesse, and a proud great-uncle to Nyan, Dexter, Mykah, Sevryn, Lennon, and Max.

Harvey was known for his generous heart, his gift for friendship, and his love of life. He had a lifelong passion for boating, the joy of travel, and a deep appreciation for people and connection. His warmth, humour, and loyalty endeared him to all who knew him.

Harvey will be remembered as a wonderful friend.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at SageCare for their compassion and dedication over the past year.
