Lily Rogovein née Pivnick

Peacefully, on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the age of ninety-three with her family at her side. Devoted wife of the late Leonard Rogovein for fifty-one years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Ted Rogovein and Ilana Waldston, and Franceen Rogovein and Barry Springer. Cherished “Bubbie” of Miranda, and Leora Rogovein and Adam and Ethan Springer. Adored sister and sister-in-law of Rose and the late Morris Rose, the late Mickey and the late Florence Pivnick; and sister-in-law of Esther and the late Lester Schiffman, the late Ellen and the late Willie Fisher, the late Harry and the late Ada Rogovein, and the late Ben and the Freida Rogovein. Loved by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to thank her many physicians and the team at Brookside. Special thanks to her caregivers Sama, Rachel, Sarah and Winda for the devotion and love shown towards her especially in her final days.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Monday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shevat Achim Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva Monday only at 5655 Queen Mary Rd., Hampstead, H3X 1X2, Monday following burial until 4:00 p.m., continuing in Toronto, at Franceen’s home, 19 El Dorado St., Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4C 0G9, Tuesday though Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. daily.
