Lidya Pashanov

Lidya Pashanov, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 22, 2025, in Toronto, Ontario, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born in Nalchik, Russia, on July 5, 1956, Lidya’s life was a testament to the power of kindness, compassion, and unwavering strength.
Lidya’s love for life was evident in everything she did. She had a passion for dance and music, and her presence on the dance floor was a sight to behold. Her graceful movements and radiant smile could light up any room, and she had a way of making everyone feel alive and joyful in her company. Lidya was the heart and soul of every gathering, the one who brought people together and created unforgettable moments that would be cherished forever.
Her love for her family knew no bounds. She was a devoted mother to her son, Amir, and a doting grandmother to her grandsons, Emil, Eric, and Ethan. Lidya’s nurturing spirit and unwavering support were a source of strength for her family, and her love for them was immeasurable. She took great pride in watching her family grow and flourish, and her presence in their lives was a constant source of comfort and inspiration.
Lidya’s warmth and generosity extended beyond her family, as she had a wide circle of friends who adored her. Her genuine nature and ability to connect with others on a deep level meant that she was cherished by many. Her kindness and empathy touched the lives of all who knew her, and her absence will be deeply felt by those who were fortunate enough to call her a friend.
In her passing, Lidya leaves behind a profound void in the hearts of those who loved her. Her laughter, her wisdom, and her unwavering love will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the countless memories she created and the lives she touched. Lidya Pashanov’s legacy of love and joy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her, and her memory will forever be a beacon of light in the lives of her family and friends.
May she rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be forever cherished.
