Rina Dimopoulou
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rina Dimopoulou, loving wife of Vassilios Dimopoulos for 45 years, sister of Polina Evans (Shapiro), stepmother of Ilias and Labis and sister-in-law of Marvin Finkel.
In childhood and in adulthood, she and Polina were connected at the heart and they were two bodies with one soul. She was inseparable from her sister Polina. She was Polina’s treasure. They loved each other deeply and she will be dearly missed by her close knit family, who she loved deeply and who loved and adored her.
She was an extraordinarily kind and caring soul. She was beautiful inside and out. She was highly intelligent and talented.
She received a scholarship and graduated from York University in Computer Science. After graduation she worked for major Canadian corporations as a highly respected senior systems analyst. Later in her career she founded and ran a successful computer systems consulting firm with major corporate clients.
