Murray J Starkman “Papa Moishe”

We are truly saddened and heartbroken to announce the passing of Murray Starkman, “Papa Moishe”, at home, surrounded by his family and band of angels on March 24, 2026.

Beloved husband of the late Sharon z”l. Loving father and father-in-law of Alex & Barry, JJ & Tracy, and the late Craig z”l. Adored Papa Moishe of Rebecca, Josh, Sam, and Harrison. Devoted son of the late Louis and Minnie Starkman z”l. Heartfelt thanks to Niloo and Carol, Jennifer, Grace, Kate, Jessa, and Jocelyn for their incredible love and devotion. Alex & JJ would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Milt Schacter, Amanda, and Dr. Jonathan Tam for their tremendous dedication and support.

Of the many concepts that were “Paramount” to his persona and existence, he followed his own “ABC” philosophy:

A – Always there for his family and friends
B – Brechin and Buffalo
C – Canines

He will be greatly missed by his extended family, friends, and all who knew him. May his memory be for a blessing.
