In addition to the in-person service at the Chapel, the funeral will also be live-streamed. It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved mother Goldie peacefully, on Thursday, October 31, 2024 in her ninety-second year.  Beloved wife of the late Ernie Marmurek (z’l). Cherished mother of Pearl (Arthur), Howie, Mike, David, and Melanie (Evan).  Cherished grandmother of Jordan (z’l), Carly (Aaron), Mandee (Dan), Justin (Alexandra), Meryn, Aryel (Rebecca), Shayne (Sasha), Zach (Lilli), Rebecca (Jeff), and Brandon. Proud great-grandmother of Ayla, Sienna, Dallas, Crosby, Dylan, Emily, Maxwell, Luke, Brodie, and Weston.

Goldie will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all who knew her. Mom was a gentle soul who would not hurt a fly. She liked a good joke, so please crack a good one in her honour (if it’s a little dirty that’s okay).

Shiva will be observed at 1131 Steeles Ave. West, Toronto, Main Floor Party Room. Sunday friends and family are invited immediately after the service and till 9 p.m.; Monday through Thursday Shiva visits 2 to 4 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m. Evening prayers at 7 p.m. Shiva concludes Friday morning.
