Faierstein, Anna – Holocaust Survivor

It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Faierstein announces her passing, peacefully, at age 94 on Tuesday, September 13 at 7:00AM, after a courageous battle with Pneumonia and Dementia. Beloved wife and best friend of Leon Z”L for 58 years. Devoted mother and mother-in-Law of Betty Faierstein, Harry Faierstein and Susan Breitman-Faierstein. Cherished sister-in-law of the late Abe Faierstein Z”L and Bella Faierstein. Loving Bubbie of Cindy and Barry Noam, Bradley Wajcman and Simone McKenzie, Brent Wajcman and Jennifer Gattas, Julie Wajcman and Joel Heitin, Avery and Myles Faierstein, and Jonathan and Michelle Lerner. Adored great-Bubbie of Arielle and Jonathan Noam, Aidan and Arryn Wajcman, Sammy and Romee Wajcman, Eliana and Naomi Heitin, Matthew, Josh and Olivia Lerner. Cherished aunt of Miriam and Mort Satin and family. Anna will also be sadly missed by many relatives and friends.

Graveside service at Pardes Shalom on Thursday, September 15 at 1:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to The Mackenzie Health Foundation for Palliative Care (Palliative Care at Mackenzie Health).

The family will be observing Shiva at 14 Los Alamos Dr., Richmond Hill, L4C 0G7. Shiva visitors are welcome Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Evening services will be held daily at 7:30 p.m.
