Frances Stern
Frances Stern, born Frances Tital, passed away peacefully March 29th, 2022 at Valleyview Residence, Toronto in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her loving parents Willie and Esther Tital, her beloved husband Bobby and sister Jeanette. Survived by her loving children Elyse (Dominic), Pam (Rueben) and Mark (Greg); grandsons Paul and Billy. Also survived by her sister Barbara & husband William. Frances was a devoted civil servant working as a secretary for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation for 23 years until her retirement. She was an avid reader & enjoyed traveling, especially wintering in Florida with her husband as well as cruises and travel with her son. Frances was very fortunate to have lived a long & stable life while enduring the ravages of insulin-dependent diabetes for over 60 years. Frances was a kind, sweet, patient and generous individual who always placed family first. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful staff at 2 East for their attentive and compassionate care.
Graveside service will take place at Pardes Shalom Cemetery on March 30th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Contributions in Frances’ memory may be made to the Association for the Soldiers of Israel–Canada or Bnai Brith Canada Emergency Ukrainian Relief Campaign.
