Sophie Pechen
It is with profound sadness that the family of Sophie Helen Pechen, our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend announces her peaceful passing. Born on August 9, 1932 in Toronto she was the cherished daughter of Nathan/Dora Zaretsky. She lived life her way thriving on her independence and enjoying life every day. She loved playing maj Jong with different groups, meeting friends at the mall, changing her hair styles and shopping for clothes and accessories. But her favourite time was spending time with her only grandchild. Sophie is survived by her children Gerry (Leeza) and Ron (Dulice) and beloved grandson, Drew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin. Her legacy of love and support will forever be felt by those lives she touched.
