Gregory Lukashevsky

In addition to the in-person service at the Chapel, the funeral will also be live-streamed. To view the service virtually, please go to https://smclive.ca/ on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gregory Lukashevsky. He died after midnight on June 17, 2024, in Toronto General hospital.
He was born on November 6, 1946, in Bershad, Ukraine, U.S.S.R.
He married Zhenya (nee Sikor) Lukashevsky in 1970 and they had two children, Alex and Leon. In 1980, Gregory moved with his young family to Calgary, and then to Toronto in 1984, where they settled and have lived ever since.
Gregory is survived by his wife, and two sons, daughter-in-law Liza, as well as his two grandchildren Charlie and Alice, and his older sister Rosa, and his niece Mira.
Gregory was a rock for so many people in his life; a loyal man that you could always count on. He had an excellent sense of humor and loved to celebrate all occasions.
