Irene Doris (Blum) Freedman –
April 25, 1931 – February 26,2022.
With the dignity, strength, courage, and the privacy that our mother chose to live her life; Ma, Mom, Grandma, GG, Mrs. Murphy, Irene, Mrs. Freedman, all of which she may have been known by, passed away peacefully at Blanche River Health in Kirkland Lake surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Morris (1999), parents Morton and Bessie Blum, and brother Adolph (Ruth) Blum.
Mom is survived by her children, Richard (Brenda), and Barbara, cherished “G” to Mitchell, “GG” to Kaitlin, Ainsley, Travis (Miranda), and Olivia, sister-in-laws Ruth Tannewald (Kurt), Eunice (William) Freedman, many nieces and nephews, and friends.
MOM, our rock, mentor, confident, best friend.
OUR MOTHER WILL BE MISSED AS MUCH AS SHE WAS LOVED.
