Sara Delmar
With a heavy heart we share the news of the passing of Sara Delmar on May 14th. She passed away peacefully after a long and full life at the age of 89.
Sara was the devoted wife of Jacob with whom she shared a loving and special marriage of 69 years. She was an incredible and inspiring mother (and mother-in-law) to Nina (and Sheldon) Katzman, Esther (and Marty) Kroft, and Mercedes Mellon. She was a cherished and beloved grandmother to her 10 grandchildren (and their spouses) Stephanie, Jeffrey (and Tasara), David, Jordan, Michael, Brandon (and Jess), Jaclyn (and Brett), Jake (and Katelyn), Bailey and Matthew. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Amichai, Alyssa, and Ora.
Anyone who knew Sara knew that she was an incredibly special woman. She was a gentle and warm soul, yet she had a strength to her and was always there for anyone who needed her. While she was a friend to many, she was pure and genuine. She had a heart of gold, always seeing only the best in everyone.
Sara’s kindness, optimism, and selflessness will continue to inspire everyone fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed by many.
